ME: I was born in Yerevan, Armenia, where I come from an
ancestry of Artists
My father inspired me at a young age because of the enormous
Sculptures and Installations he was contracted to do by
Collectors and Governments all over the world thus I became the
youngest Artist in Armenia to be accepted to the Artist Union. I
received my Art education in three different countries and
received my Masters Degree at The Academy of Fine Art in
Armenia.
Coming to America: After doing many exhibitions around
the world: Armenia, Germany, Russia, Lithuania, Canada, USA,
Belgium, Poland, Czech Republic, Brazil.
I was invited to come to the US where I resided in New York. I
had many exhibitions and permanent installations in Galleries in
New York. In September 2001 one day before 911 my studio was
broken into and almost all of my lives work and cherished pieces
were stolen. The Police were not available to be reached or
contacted because of the 911 tragedy and my work has never been
recovered and New York was never the same.
Coming to Florida: This is where I decided to move for my
Mind, Body and Soul to reconnect and start a new journey of my
life with my husband and my child. Here is a place where the
Water meets the Sky and becomes one and the Sun, Moon and rain
can all be out at the same time The Exotic Plants, Animals, and
People have influenced my work into a new realm and is moving
into uncharted waters.

The mind creates, the body reproduces. In the
material reality, art objects are reproductions of the creations
of the mind -- a mind that uses the body as a machine to
materialize ideas, patterns, and emotions. With the evolution of
the electronic environment, the mind is reaching a point where
it will be free from the body to share immersions into the
parameters of the delphic reality.
Nune Asatryan's work investigates the nuances of pixels through
the use of slow motion and close-ups which emphasize the
symbolic nature of all media.
Asatryan explores abstract and scenery as motifs to describe the
idea of infinite reality. Using loops, non-linear narratives,
and slow-motion images as patterns, Asatryan creates meditative
environments which suggest the expansion of time...
